Hi All:

If you don't look at your logs, you should.  For 
November, our traffic at E-Tailer's Digest was 
ten times what it is normally.  I attributed it 
to the new version of the digest.  Wrong!  The 
most active pages were those with the greetings, 
i.e., Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Welcome 
and Thank You (the most active).  It woke us 
up.  So, check your logs each month, or more often during the season.

Today we continue with our  series in Business 
Tips called "What is Success?"  We 
address  starting a new business and how to fund 
it.  As you probably know, we are involved in 
many businesses, and enjoy the challenge of 
something new.  Our eBay store is doing well, and we will be expanding.

E-Tailer's Digest 1026 reminded me of a time some 
years ago as a guest speaker at a HS marketing 
class, I was asked to define success. I'm sure 
the student was looking for my answer to relate 
to income or profit. Since I had not thought 
about such a definition, I blurted out, "You are 
successful when others accept and adopt what 
you're selling/offering/asking them to do." When 
this happens, I added, the money will follow. 
I've stayed with that idea since then.

Another way I state success is: OPENING THE DOORS TO SUCCESS......
