Marketing Your Web (MYWEB)

Click here to see a makeover.

MYWEB is a unique 8-point service where we review your site from a marketing point of view and make recommendations that will help you sell your services or products.

WHAT DO WE DO?

FIRST PHASE:

1. Review your Web site from a marketing point of view.

First we e-mail you our copyrighted 8-page standard, fact-gathering form that we use to obtain more information about your business, your goals and objectives. It is an excellent method to organize your thoughts, and contain sections like:

bulletCompany information
bulletCompany description
bulletObjectives (including a list of typical objectives)
bulletDifferentiation strategy
bullet"Elevator Speech"
bulletBenefits of doing business with you
bulletYour competition
bulletTargeted customers
bulletProducts/services
bulletTerritories
bulletSite organization
bulletPromotion efforts to date

We ask you to tell us what you do, what you are trying to accomplish and who are you trying to target. Once we know that, we then review your site and tell you what we see from a prospect's point of view. We then make recommendations to improve your site in order to drive traffic and business to you. Our recommendations may include comments like:

Your message is unclear, along with recommendations to change the message.  The site is too complex, along with suggestions to simplify it. Your words don't sell - too lame. Along with more powerful words that sell.  Your graphics do not add anything to your overall goals.  You should provide auto responders or additional information for visitors.

All suggestions are tailored for specific clients (and include recommendations for Meta Tags which are used by search engines to find you).

2. Search engines.

We submit your site to 1,000+ search engines, using our unique "deep submit" process where we get you maximum exposure. We resubmit the sites again after three and six months. The goal is to get you in the top positions on the lists. We also make recommendations for site changes that will get you the maximum exposure in our "deep submit" service. Keep in mind, some search engines take 3-4 months to accept your submission.

3. Newslists.

We help you find discussion lists or newslists that would benefit your type of business, and recommend you joining the groups for exposure (there are over 250,000 such lists available).

4. Differentiation Strategy.

Develop a unique "Differentiation Strategy" program which will propel your firm out of the area we call "the brilliant shade of gray." All firms are basically the same. The trick is to develop a strategy that will give the public the perception that you are different in a way that is meaningful to them. You may be well-known off-line, but on the Net, everybody is the same -- the size of a 14" monitor.

5. Broadcast Communiqués.

Develop a series of three broadcast communiqués to be faxed or e-mailed to prospective customer and/or joint venture groups.

6. Autoresponders.

Create a series of auto responders to be used effectively with visitors to your site. Everything on the Net is instantaneous. You cannot think about preparing a response to a visitor. Rather you need to have well-defined responses, which are automatically sent to visitors, for which you follow up within 48 hours.

7. Press Releases.

We create a series of three press releases, and, using our Automated Press Releases with a media contact database of 10,000+ contacts worldwide, select a target group and distribute the press releases to your specific target groups, which is usually 1,000 - 1,500 contacts.

We strongly believe that a series of  press releases are critical for the on-going success of the campaign.

8. Traffic Logs.

We help you monitor the traffic logs at your site to determine the success of the campaigns and to determine where more emphasis is required. Traffic logs can give a wealth of information, like...

bulletWhere visitors came from (which URL)
bulletWhere they go in your site
bulletWhere they go when they leave your site
bulletHow long they spend at your site and at each page
bulletWho refers you the most visitors
bulletWhat time of the day do you get the most traffic
bulletWhat  day of the week do you get the most traffic
bulletThe most active pages visited (this can surprise you)
bulletWhich countries, states and cities visitors come from
bulletThe least requested pages
bulletAnalysis of browsers used to visit your site
bulletOrganization breakdown, i.e., commercial, education, government, etc.
bulletVisiting spiders
bulletMost used platforms

With this information, we can determine what needs to be changed at your site to improve visibility.  You may think a particular service will generate activity, and you will be surprised to see it doesn't, and another service does generate traffic. Your choices then are to improve the presentation of the service you want to promote, or do more promotion for the service where you are getting activity.

Each piece of traffic information is critical for success. For example, analyzing browsers used tells you how to adapt your site for maximum exposure (browsers react differently to the same information). Time of the day is important if you want to take your site down for maintenance.

These traffic logs would be analogous to you knowing everybody who read a newspaper, including which pages, and how long they took to read each page.

SECOND PHASE:

After evaluating the results of Phase One (3-6 months), we shall  consider banner ads, opt-in mailings, news lists sponsorships and link exchanges, all tailored to your specific target groups. It does not make sense to begin this level of promotion until you understand what is working within your site.

TIME AND DURATION:

We are prepared to begin this project immediately and expect to complete Phase One within 90 days of acceptance. This timetable assumes adequate cooperation by your personnel and ready availability of the necessary information.

ENGAGEMENT COMPLETION:

We shall consider the engagement complete when the materials identified in this proposal have been delivered.

FEES AND PAYMENTS:

Our fees are normally on a per-diem basis. We will consider this engagement on a flat fee basis, which we can quote once we know more about your site and services. Any out-of-pocket expenses will be billed to your firm in addition to our fees.

CONCLUSION:

If you are serious about doing business on the Internet, then complete our MYWEB form and we will get back to you with a proposal.
